I need information regarding the rights of women after marriage and the necessary actions, she can take in case her husband wants to get mutual separation because of pre-marriage relations with her boyfriend. If his wife don't want to divorce or get seperated, what legal actions she could take to save her marriage? Kindly give elaborate information regarding this issue both in favour and against this....

you havent mentioned if you are married already or about to get married, if you are about to get married, then i really feel sorry for you, as you are going to get married with a presumed view about your husband, you have built assumptions in your mind even before your marriage, and viewing everything with 'ifs' and buts, one cannot stay happy with presumptions, you are attempting to load the ammunition even before you have stepped into your husbands world, i suggest that you keep your assumptions and keep a neutral mind when you get married, belive and trust are two most important things in marriage

hello,

if the husband has filed the divorce petition then before any hearing counselling and mediation will be done in which all things can be sorted out.

Well if the fact of a pre marriage affair was concealed from the husband, only then it forms a ground for divorce that too a petition needs to be filed within 1 year from the discovery of that fraud.....

WELL the best way to save marriage is to TALK...

Hi chetan,

pre marriage affair was hidden before marriage. Is this ground for divorce? some of experts in LIC said it is not ground for divorce.  Do you have judgement on this?  we have filed case within the year from discovery of fraud under this ground.

Is Pre-marital relation a ground for filing divorce or petition? Or post-marriage knowing about pre-marital affair, does it have weightage to file case for separation? In case of legal filing petition, what all things are there in favour and against that guy?
