Need advice

Hello, I need advice on one matter. One of my friends mobile no. has been shown in one movie and after that she is getting very abusive messages and calls. She contacted the production house but they said that this is just coincidence and forget about that. Please tell me the proper way to take further action and what laws are applicable in this case.
