Ncestral property distribution - thane

Dear Sir / Madam

We have our ancestral property located in Thane, Bhiwandi.  It is propety received by our fathers from their mother means our grandmother.

Our grandmother had 3 more sisters and out 3 sisters 2 were step sisters.  One step sister is still alive.  in year 1952 grandmothers father's name was there on the property and after his death there were 5 names (4 daugthers and his wife) in year 1955 this property was transferred in the name of our grandmother and remaining names were removed by taluka order.

Now in year April 2011, heirs of 3 sisters have filed suit against us stating that they are legitiamte owners of land and their ancestors name was removed by misguiding the goverment.  Hence they claim the right to property now after 55 years almost.

In the last hearing court has granted them "status quo" also.  Hence would like to know How can one claim the right of the property after 55 years when there was Tehsil order in year 1955? Which are documents we require to obtain to prove that there can not be any claim of these heirs now in said property.

Kindly adivse.

Thanks & Regards
