name of the claimant wrong

am going to purchase a property in which actuall owner of property who bought that property on 1985 in that sale deed name of claimant is written as j.sundaraaman which is wrong actuall name is jaganathan sundarraman wat to now jaganathan expired on 2010 and their legal heir are selling the property they r having all death and legal heir certificate original sale deed patta and encumbrance certificate also wat to do please help me

Show the document to a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts, analyses, guidance and proper proceeding.

if the property is transferred in the name of legal heirs by the local recevenue authority , there is nothing to worry , however for better safety publish notice of purchasing the land mentioning name of the previous owner and detail of the property in news paper . so that at later stage no one can object stating that they were not in knowledge of the sale of the property. feel free to call if left any doubt.
