Name change of baby

Hi Expert Lawyers, My wife's father had written name of my baby without ask me.Now we don't like that name and we want to change.My baby is 4 months old.Name was written at Himmatnagar Nagarpalika,Gujarat.We asked there to change the name and they refused it. I wan to do the Gazett process but I don't aware with this.Could you please explain all steps for Gazett process. Can I do this process by my self or I should do this compulsory by help of Lawyer?
