Hi All,
I recently got married even got my marriage certificate done(Karnataka state) .but my wife name is same in the marriage certificate as the old one as per what her parents have kept .now I want to change her name to new with my surname attached to it ? what should I do ?Kindly advice.

re-apply for name change in marriage certificate for your wife.
its an easy process.

Dear...Registered Marriage Deed will be the supporting document tochange the Nomination in favour of !!!Life Partner!!!.That portion has to be approved by the competent authority nominated by the appointing authority concerned.

Gazette Notification for change of Name after mariage is to be basically processed through legal route. Registered Marriage Deed will be requiring correction with out altering the existing Deed.There after, the Nomination takes care of the subsequent modification depending on the contingencies.
