Name addition

I have purchased a agriculture land in maharashtra, from my own fund(7/12 my name is registered), I want to add my real brother name in 7/12, what is the procedure.

Hi

Thank you for your question

1.You have to approach the registrar's office where the property was originally registered.

2.You need to prepare a 'Rectification Deed' with the inclusion of teh additional party name and get the document registered and it will form a part of the first document.

It would be advisable to engage an advocate to assist you with the drafting.
