Except seeking cancellation of such document from competent court through a declaration suit alleging a fraud or undue influence, there is no alternative for cancellation of any registered document of title.

What do you mean by recalling gift, you mean to say you want to cancel the registered gift deed after the donor expired 

The donor, even if alive, cannot execute a cancellation deed unilaterally to cancel the gift deed.

If the gift deed was executed within three years, then the donor and the donee can execute a registered cancellation deed jointly cancelling the registered gift deed.

Now since the donor/father is reported to have died, it is not possible to cancel the gift deed.

Please post material facts as to the execution of the gift deed and why it requires to be 'recalled'?
