Mutual Divorce

Dear All,

 I have filed for mutual divorce petition . Date after 6 months given by court is 6th October. Suppose I am not able to attend that date because of any reason can this date be taken on any other day or that depends on the court.

In short after 6 months court has given a particular date. Can I attend this date after 1 month.
