Mutual div case is underway....after amicable settlements between me and wife.
joint petition, vakalnamas lodged at rohini courts, delhi.
on the first motion day, my lawyer is not available.
can i attend it alone and give my statement ?
i request all the learned lawyers to guide me on this.

In fact advocates are not permitted to appear and file vakalat before the family courts. Parties have to appear in person before the court. The advocate can assist the parties. No vakalat is required to be filed in family court.
