Muslim man caught under 498a

Marriage was conducted as per Muslim law with all expenses borne by the guy (proof available) Girl left to hometown within a week quoting health reasons and never returned back ( proof available) Several attempts to contact and bring the girl back did not work out Four months later received false case complaint of 498a and summoned at police station. We showed all the proof available and we were let go by just taking a statement Post that there has been continuous calls by the girl side lawyer demanding closure by accepting the girl back in the house or pay up a huge sum. There has been suddenly messages pouring from the girl that she is willing to come back. We are in no intentions to take back the girl after the false case was filed against the boy and the entire family or not inclined to pay up any money as we have already spent a lot on the wedding her clothes loaning money to their family members etc. A) What should be our next steps? B) can we proceed to issue talaq? C) is there anything else we should do or be careful about? It's been a mind numbing to go through corrupt lawyers, corrupt police and corrupt people who resemble beakless Eagles preying on other people's money. We have not taken any action despite all this torture but I think it's time to take action. Have loads of proof to support everything. If anyone from bangalore is willing to bring these wrongdoers to justice please leave me a message P.S there is also a call recording of the lawyer admitting that based on his friendship with the police inspector he was able to get a FIR registered ( no details on the status of the case is known)
