Municipal issued c1 notice to society. but the notice was misplaced and late intimated to member

Municipal issued 1st C1 demolishion Notice to society. but the notice was misplaced and about after 4 months it was findout and was late intimated to member. What will be the impact?

Quick Summary
A municipal C1 demolition notice was issued to a society but subsequently misplaced, leading to a four-month delay in informing the member. The key issue is how to proceed when the notice was not received promptly. The advice suggests submitting an affidavit to the municipal authorities explaining the circumstances of the delay. If accepted, this explanation might mitigate the consequences of non-compliance. It's also recommended to formally request a copy of the original notice from the concerned authorities.

You cannot claim innocence of law, if the letter was misplaced then you may give an affidavit with the reasons that why you were not able to comply with the demands made in the notice, if the authorities are conviced your explanation in the form of an affidavit, may be accepted.

Approach and request concerned municipal authorities for a copy of notice and proceed as required.
