Money matter

I have given money to my friend by bank transaction x amount and has taken post dated cheque from him. can i claim / recover that money back to him thorough court.

You have right to file the case against your freind for recovery as well as criminal case for cheating / breach of trust etc.

in that case you need to serve the legal notice u/sec. 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act within the time period of 30 days from the date you received the bank memo from your banker alongwith the cheque.
