Misuse of dowry act

I am selected for a central govt job and I will get appointment after the police verification. my sister-in-law is threating my family member along with me that she will file 498a in PS against all of us. she is creating inhumane condition in home and always quarreling and thretening us. will I have to face any problem if she files case against me or will it affect my appointment and hence my job?? please guide me. what should I do to save myself and my family?

Dear Mr.Narayan,

Don't dig a well after the fire starts ! Since you are apprehending such a case, make an intimation to the concerned authorities (with strict instructions as to no action) and you'd be on stronger grounds. But no protection is absolute.
