Mismatch in father surname

Dear Sir/Madam.
In my own documents (10th class,12th class, adhar, pan, voter)The Father Name is "Mohan Lal"
and my father Own documents name have "Mohan Sharma"

Is there problem in UPSC cse documents verification?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a concern about a discrepancy in the father's surname appearing on official documents for UPSC CSE. The original poster notes their documents list 'Mohan Lal' as the father's name, while the father's own documents show 'Mohan Sharma'. The response suggests this mismatch is unlikely to be an issue during UPSC CSE document verification, as only the candidate's documents are checked if they are over 18. However, it cautions that problems might arise if the father is listed as a nominee and needs to prove his identity later.

In my opinion their won't be any problem if there is a mismatch in yours and your father's documents. if your are above 18 years then only your documents are being verified not your parents. but if you fill your father's name in nominee column in any of the forms like banks etc. then there will be a problem but that too at the time of giving the amount or any kind of thing. he need to prove that he is the same person. else you will not face any kind of problem.
hope this helped you.
