minimum wages act

when any department, company or shop which comes in company act, can give minimum wages to labour and how it will be calculated...?

Minimum Wages in India is expected to reach 178.00 INR/Day by the end of 2021, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. In the long-term, the India National Floor Level Minimum Wage is projected to trend around 190.00 INR/Day in 2022, according to our econometric models.

Companies Act is seprate legislation and Minimum Wages Act is a separate legislation. Both Act are applicable as per its applicability section. Further, minimum wages under MW Act is decided by the Centre as well as State Government. The applicable Government to make the rule is the Appropriate Government.
