Mhada row house transfer

Hello All, Need Advice on the below We need help on the process of transferring Mhada property on our name (from my parents due to their death), we already have the required documentation including probate, will and death certification. What is the step by step process on initiating the transfer of Lease and Deed on Mhada (and other government org) records? Can this process be done by individual or we need to hire a lawyer? What are the fees for the both Lease and Transfer deed? How long the process will take? Thank you All

You have to produce the death certificate of your parents, registered will with probate or a succession certificate from the court concerned, NOC i.e. a Released deed from the other legal heirs in favour of the legal heir, property documents such as the allotment letter, leased deed or sale agreement from the Mhada, NOC from the registered cooperative housing society with share certificates, an affidavit stating that the applicant has no other land with annual income.  You have to pay the transfer fees as prescribed (minimum Rs.45% per sq. feet.  You can engage any advocate/lawyer to do this work, you can inquire locally.

Local laws apply on the subject issue(s).

It would be appropriate to consult and /or engage a local prudent lawyer for proper analyses of facts/documents, professional advise  and necessary proceeding.

Admittedly, you have completed the documentation. Have you contacted the authorities concerned? If so, are you facing any difficulties?

You can take the assistance of an advocate in the local and follow the issue step by step as suggested by the advocate
