medicolegal query

Can a MBBS doctor without post-graduation in orthopedics, conduct orthopedic surgery on patients in a government hospital in Delhi legally????????????????

As long as there is no problem with his ability,efficiency there is no problem. some time, his experience counts  in permitting to conduct such operation. However, if anything goes wrong, there  is a way to raise all queries and amounting including  criminal negligence.

Also he should have been recognized by state medical consil and Indian Medical Association. Usually, very few institutes are recognized by IMA. Usually there is a registration number. Someone should ask for it and verify. If the doctor does not have valid registration then it could be a problem for the doctor.
