Medical evidence

A psychological test was carried out and the psychiatrist made conclusion about the mental health of person evaluated. Medical journals show this test was illegal for the condition. Can the journal be submitted as evidence directly in High Court writ petition? Will it be valid evidence?

Dear client,yes you can dubmit it for the review on the point of that test's validity. The court will see the matter.

If it is relevant and it is not hearsay, it may be admissible. However, if you are the one offering it into evidence, you are required to lay a proper evidentiary foundation for its admissibility or the judge will not admit it.

Thank you, gentlemen.

I will be the person offering it in evidence, and I have medical journals to back up the claim. Are these sufficient for the Court to take judicial notice?
