Mathadi labour issue - need legal opinion

Dear Experts,

We have been facing issues regarding Mathadi union. I posting queries regarding the same.

-         We deal in different kind of material like copper, Aluminium, steel and plastic at a time, which board should we get registered?

-         What would be the rate applicable for mathadi services in above scenario?

-         Few of the establishments in our area have their own workers engaged in loading / unloading work; can they get these workers registered under the said board / act?

-         In above scenario, what should be the wages to be paid to the protected worker from the establishment is engaged for mathadi work?

-         Few tolis / unions are forcing us to get registered with them; can we directly get registered in the board, without getting registered with Tolis? If yes, what is the procedure?

-         If we are registered with the board, would it be mandatory on us to take the services of only a particular toli / union?

-         If such toil / union is not giving us proper and timely service, can we change their services, what is the procedure in that case?

I need this information at the earliest so that we can do the necessary registration.

Also we are looking out for Labour consultants from western suburbs of Mumbai to work with us on retainership basis. The immediate matter that needs the attention is Mathadi Board registration issue.

Please send your proposals / introduction letter to

Thanks
Harshada
