Dear Experts,
I am working for MNC through contract from thirdy party vendor since 2.5 yrs In Bangalore
According to third party vendor
1. Maternity wages Include only basic pay 1/5th of my salary.
2. Basic Pay will be paid only after rejoining and working for 3months after maternity.
3.Third party claims this is according to karnataka labour law
4.Even after continous discussions company is not ready to give clarification on the policy .
PLease let me is this right and advice the next steps.
I am yet to go on maternity leave in next month.
PLease help me with suggestions and details and where to approch for this in Bangalore
