Making will on property with home loan

Hello Members,

I recently bought a property on my name as I did not want my wife to get included in the Home Loan.

1. At the time of registry, can I do a registry of the porperty along with her?

2. If not, how can I nominate her to be the legal owner of the property in case anything happens to me?

3. Can I write a Will on a porperty for which Home Loan is in progress?

Please guide me here. I am in need of urgent help.

dear sir, as ur wife is your one of the legal heir ,she will automatically inherit the property along with other legal heirs. u hv to write a will in favour of your wife, only if you wish other legal heirs other than your wife should not inherit the property. she will get the property along with the loan attached to it. Thanks Sathyanarayanan.

Hi Sathyanarayanan,

Thanks for your response.

1. That means I can write a will on a property for which the loan is going on?

2. Can I get the property registered along with my wife in my case?

3. Would a power of attorney document work or I would need a Will?
