Senior citizen in the state of Haryana needs shelter and maintenance from an earning son. Please let me know if "The maintenance and welfare of parents and senior citizen act 2007 " is in force in the state of Haryana or is there any better remedy for providing shelter and manintence to a senior citizen.

It is best one. He can also apply under 125 Cr.P.C., but in 125 there is no provision like shelter etc.
