What kind of developments are you referring to here ?

Are you facing any case, if so then discuss your problem, at least briefly so that you can get proper opinion.

It is your personal problem or an examination hall question paper ?

Thank You for your Interest and concern Sirs.  Its not my case its my client's case, I  wish to know from your perspective to guide my client who is psycchologically affected ,deserted by husband few years back. having two girl children with her, taken care by maternal grand mother and uncle because mother is not in a position to take care. at this juncture how can she claim the maintenance for her and for the children?

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     22 August 2024

She can file a maintenance case against her husband in the family court within her jurisdiction under section 144 of BNSS, 2023.

She can claim maintenance for herself and for her minor children too in the same petition.

you can arrange to file the maintenance case in an appropriate court to enable her to get the required releifs.
