No. wife can not get maintanance from her husband's parants. Incase husband is not alive, wife can get maintanance from her father in law.

Yes thats cent percent true that she cannot claim maintainance from her in-laws.
bt they usually treats in-laws for this otherwise she will file dowry cases against them
