Maintenance can recover beyond 1 year under application cr.pc sec 125(3)?

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether maintenance payments can be recovered for periods exceeding one year under Section 125(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code (Cr.PC). It clarifies that an initial execution petition can be filed for pending arrears, but subsequent recovery petitions are generally limited to 11 months. The thread seeks legal judgments to confirm if recovery beyond one year is indeed possible in a second application.

First Execution can be filed for pending arrears and after that only 11 month's maintenance recovery execution petition will be maintainable.
