Maintanance

Hi,

I want to know that the expense which i am incurring on my studies , does it get deducted from my earnings to calculate maintenance of my child and wife. I am planning to join part time MBA and my wife has already filed maintenance case against me .

All (existing) expenses are calcuated and duly deducted before deciding the maintenance. However, a thought or plan to join a course, buy a house/property are generally rejected per se being thought out to get rid of maintenance in the court.

If you have already applied to the course and the relevant documents show that you are already in the process and your education fees is now inevitable, then it is valid to be accounted for.
