Ours is an Apartment of 4 members, in Pune, registered by Deed of Declaraion. Of the 4 members, two are not paying their monthly maintenance charges over a year, hence are defaulters, and do not have any voting rights. A case if being filed agaist these members. I am one of the paying members. The other member, a senior citizer, age is 77, is presently Chairman. He is fed up with the consistence harrassment of letters by the non-working ( for Apartment ) non-paying members. Now he wants to resign. I do not mind taking over, because whether I was any office bearer or not, I have been doing all the work for over 6 years, without remuneration. Now if he resigns, can he propose me to work as a Chairman, and vote for it. Because I will not be able to vote for this resolution, the other two members are entitled to.
