Lrs payment inspise of previous building permission for the new proposed construction

Hyderabad Municipality is playing double game. They say in order to construct the new house  where it is proposed to dismantle the existing old house.

Ironically the house was constructed with due permission from Hyderabad Municipality way back in 1986. But since the approved permit is not available in original or xerox, mere providing permit number is not valid as they say.

It is considered as unauthorised layout and hence some of lakhs of rupees to be paid in LRS scheme ( Layout regualrisation scheme).

The concerned official in municipality is reluctant to give a certified copy by providing the permit number .

How to deal such unfair situation from the Muncipality ,where to appeal otherwise

Contact higher officer of municipality.

If the municipal authorities are issuing receipt for the payment made under LRS then it is a valid demand and would be considred as legal  as per law or rule.

Why do you want to agitate when you are at fault.

You may not get any respite even if you approach higher authority or even court by spending more money towards litigation expenses.

If, really, with due permission, the house was constructed, you shall provide them proof of it, or you shall pay the LRS as they demand.
