If you cannot find the original will, you can obtain the copy of the will from the sub-registrar's office, by showing the death certificate and other relevant documents.

1. Find out the probable period during which will was registered.

2. Inspect relevent registers of that period in Sub-Registrar office.

3. Find out registration No. and date of registration etc.

4. Apply certified copy of will.

Friends, Thank you for your suggestions. I am advised by the various advocates that they cant find the will from the registrar unless they know the exact time of when it was registered.

Any advocate in delhi who can help me in finding this will from registrar office is free to contact me on my mobile no. given below.
