Ours is a Private limited company coming under shops and establishment act. We are in service industry. One of our staff, has been absenting from services for the past 3 months. though we have sent a letter calling for him to report to the services, the letter has been returned unserved.
Under these cirucumstances, should hold a formal enqury to terminate the staff or we can send a letter straight. I have been told that there is one SC ruling that for long absent, no need to hold enquiry.
