Respected experts,
The maintenance case filed by my ex wife under crpc 125 has been referred to the LOK ADALAT .
Prior to that the Family Court posted the matter for counselling which failed.
I refused as she is a highly qualified working lady and very much able to maintain herself.
Now could you please let me know whether Lok Adalat will be of any help ?
Should I request for disposal of the case on merit ?

Lok adalat is a system for speedy judgements. Both the parties must attend the lok adalat. "More than a hundred cases have been settled through reconciliation. All the cases are expected to be settled by the end of the Lok Adalat on the same day.
