dear forum members/experts

please say whether ipc 384 can be charged after 4 years of committing a crime?

If no charge sheet has been filed within 3 years, court can't take cognizance of that offence. But if charge sheet has been filed within 3 years but accused can not be arrested and declared absconder, he can be charged after his appearance.
