Lift maintenance charges

We are havin a, b, c, d, e, wing as per agreement, now A,B & C Wing are the Raw House and have a seprate entry from the road, they don't have the lift installed, whether they have to bare the lift maintenance charges for the lift installed in D & E Wing.?

The society is one only

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether residents of wings without lifts (A, B, C) should contribute to the maintenance costs of lifts installed in other wings (D, E) of the same society. While generally, those who don't use a facility may not be obligated to pay for its upkeep, the specific wording of the society's agreement is crucial. If the agreement mandates shared costs for all buildings, payment might be required, otherwise, residents could challenge the charges.

Generally speaking no, but since it is agreement for all of the buildings you need to go through agreement, if it is mentioned there you have to bare the charges but if there no such thing you can address the scoiety for that.

I don't have any legal expertise, but I have some thoughts on this topic. It seems like a tricky situation because while A, B, and C wings don't use the lift installed in D and E wing, they still live in the same society and benefit from the overall maintenance of the building.
