Legl notice

IF N ADVOCATE SENDS LEGAL NOTICE WITHOUT REG NUMBER,SIGN IS VALID OR NOT

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the validity of legal notices sent by advocates who omit their registration number. While not strictly invalidating the notice, the Bar Council of India now mandates the inclusion of the advocate's license number on their letterhead. This practice is considered good professional conduct, ensuring transparency and ethical communication.

There's no legal infirmity in sending the legal notice by an advocate without mentioning his license number.

As per new directions of Bar Council of India it is mandatory that license number must be written on letter head of advocate who is sending legal notice.

While not always explicitly required, including the license number is generally considered good professional practice and demonstrates a commitment to ethical and transparent legal communication.
