Lease of Tribal Land

What is the mode of title (ownership) of the landlord, ie., whether the land is freehold or leasehold.

If it is leasehold you are to check with owner i.e., Lessor whether the property can be sub-leased by lessee i.e., person in-occupation. ? Generally sub-lease is not permissible.

It is better to consult a local prudent lawyer.

Tribal land is prohibited land in general.  So registration is not permissible and not advisable to take on a lease.
