Lawyers cooperative

Somewhat insulated from the civil society being in the Army for a long years I did not know many things which are considered routine. But it happened to me very quickly after my retirement. I was arrested and granted bail.

What i am now referring to the deposit of the Surety of Rs 5000 /- to the Advocates cooperative bank where i was told to deposit . The bank had its rep inside the court premises itself. Why  money can not be deposited with the post office or a PSU bank or even a private bank from where govt can earn some revenue . Where will the profit accrued from the co op bank go ? Will there be a share for the hon'ble judge also?

Is it the root cause for the frequent adjournments in collusion with the judges so that surety money is held hostaged to maximise profits .

I will be gladdest if i am wrong this time.
