land sale by ST tamilnadu

An ST person has been assigned land in Tamilnadu. It Has been in the same family for three generations. Patta had been issued. The revenue office says it is a Patta without conditions. Is it legal to sell this land to non ST person when it was bought by another ST person who paid full consideration on the value of the property? Is this ok to sell by law.

As per the assignef land Act... you can't sell the land to Non-SC/ST.

Hello @karthikeyan . The patta was issued in 1970. It says can be sold to any one who is Indian but not without permission of DC to anyone who is. Non indian.
