Can its possible..... Can Ancestral land be do gift deed, or any other given for only one son
1. One father and two mother...
2. It means two wife
3.first wife 1 son and 1 daughter
4. Second wife 2 son
Can father given his Ancestral land given only any one son name....

Dear Querist

Ancestral property cannot be given by way of gift deed.

All children whether legitimate, illegitimate, adopted have equal right in ancestral property of father.

Father has no right to transfer whole ancestral property to one son whereas he has 3 sons and 1daughter.

Dear Querist,

Ancestral property can’t be given away as a gift deed. All the coparceners have equal right over the property and hence the property is equally divided between them. No one person can claim the whole property and give it as a gift to someone.

Ancestral property doesn’t belong to the father only. It has been passed on from generations. The father can give his own separate property as a gift to his son or any other person he wishes to without any consent from family members.
