Knock of dead wall between 2 flats

Hi,

can we remove the dead wall between 2 adjacent flats without taking the BMC permission? No structural changes and load bearing walls or beams are distributed. Just want to remove a door between two flats.

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether it's possible to remove a non-structural wall, specifically a doorway, between two adjacent flats without obtaining BMC permission. Participants suggest that if the wall isn't load-bearing and doesn't affect the building's structure, beams, or legal regulations, it might be permissible. Mutual understanding with neighbours is also highlighted as a key factor.

If the wall do not affect structure, beam or law, it may be removed.
