There is no specific format for cancellation of family settlement, however, consult a local prudent lawyer for drafting good deed.

When the settlement deed was signed by several co-sharers, and if one wanted to cancel or state, the co-sharer who is against such settlement should approach a court of law for remedy. However, if the co-sharer wants no share, he can relinquish his share in favour of some other or gift. There should be a valid ground for such cancellation like fraudulent misrepresentation, undue influence, coercion, and the party must establish such misrepresentations to the court. The suit has to be filed within the limitation period. Only local advocates can suggest a suitable remedy.
