just need advice

someone hacked my mobile phone and he could able to listen each conversation by me by the mobile phone so the thing is I got that my mobile phone is hacked and I made a defamatory statement against the hacker and he listened my statement now can the hacker file a defamation case against me? I did not make the defamatory statement public though

What the hacker doing itself is illegal and how can he/she proceed against you for some statement made against him which he is not supposed to listen and on the other hand you are informing that you did not make the comment public.
