Jurisdiction in 138 ni act

Respected Sir,

A Copany has started legal proceeding u/s 138 NI Act by giving a notice to make demand for payment from its Registerd office at "Mumbai" which is in the Jurisidiction of "Mumbai High Court".

After the expiry of the period of 15 days, The Company filed a Complaint u/s 138 NI Act in the Court at Kanpur which is in the Jurisidiction of "Allahbaad High Court"

Is this a legaly OK position to initiate proceeding u/s 138 NI Act.
