Dear Sir
Can a Lender whose registered office is in mumbai, his branch office which processed the loan is in mumbai, the borrower is in mumbai, the mortagaged assset is in mumbai, file a false case for debt recovery from delhi just to harrass the borrower? does the court in delhi have jurisdiction?
are there any judgements of delhi high court or supreme court?

Thank you sir. are thaere any judgements in our favour. it seems that the NBFCs keep misusing their national presence and file cases in distant courts to harasss borrowers. they say that they have branch office in delhi or calcutta and hence can file a case anywhere.
