Job in railways

Dear Sir, I have selected for rrb je. I did the job as postal assistant in postal dept. previously and I resigned the job 5 years ago. Is it required releiving letter(because I do not have any document) for joining in railways now.

If it was 5 years ago,

you can join as fresh also, but all depend on your recuirt board...they will suggest you

if they demand then you can apply for releiving/experience certificate(*because generally releiving letter issue instanly after exit)

Admittedly, this is a case of fresh appointment; relieving letter need not be produced.
