Is the gift deed valid or not

As per Transfer of Property Act, the deed is valid subject to fulfilment of other consditions as prescribed in the T.P.Act. Minor is prohibited from making any gift.

But minor has to accept the said gift immediately after attaining the majority. Here the doctrine of election will apply. Either he may reject the git or he may accept the same after attaining the majority.
