Is it necessary to get approval of house plan while renovating house from scratch in ahmedabad?

I want suggestions how can i get approval because suddenly my secretary of society have asked for it. Actually we have 60 house in society no one have a house plan they all have 2 floors.

we just started renovation because of my house was 20+ year old in construction and it was draining water from the terrace.
