Is it naccessary to take bail in ipc 107?

Is it naccessary to take bail in IPC 107?

I am away from my home town, but still someone has put my name in IPC 107, do i need to physically go there and take bail or should I approach local advocate and ask him to take bail in my behalf?

please suggest, I m not very familier with such legal cases.
