Is it good to furnish the income details obtained online?

Dear Experts,

Is it mandatory to obtain the income returns of spouse  through RTI only for submission in the court? (In connection with Crpc 125 & marriage gift 498A) or the documents downloaded online (from Income tax website) also suffice?

Please suggest?

The court is not concerned how you got the documents, as long as it is true.

However, the girl might file a case for hacking and other things seperately.

You won't get income tax returns in RTI, you would have to call the Income Tax Returns through CrPC 91 application or Witness Summons as the case may be.

If the other person is in service then you can get the details from office. if he/she is carrying on some business you have to file an application under section 91 Cr.P.C. for summoning the records.
