hai  nitin, the question of off roll or on roll is companies internal issue. when ever a employee joines the company his name should be entered in the company mustor roll. then as per law & company standing orders / policy all labor laws will come to applicable based on company stracture.in india all employment law says , employer should protect his employees emplyment rights as mentioned in the law, without deviating the original one. employer can provide / make extra rights or facilities without deviating basics of law. so it is the right of employee and responsibilty of emplyer to provide any letters to the employee,
